startup_nation_logoDon’t you hate to be approached by a pushy salesperson? I do too. For an entrepreneur, sales and cashflow go hand in hand.  Cash flow keeps a business in operation.  And sales are needed to generate revenue for business.  So selling is not optional. But how you choose to sell is.

Do you have to be pushy to get sales? No. Start-up Nation has a great article that shows you how to sell without becoming a pushy salesperson. Check it out – its called Pull Don’t Push: Sales and Marketing in the New Economy. In this article, Stacy Karacostas gives 5 Low Cost Ways to Pull Hot Prospects To You.  Professional speakers, coaches and consultants use these strategies all the time.

Would you want to buy from someone who does not have your best interests at heart?  Or would you want to do business with a salesperson who treats you like a valued customer?  This article shows you how to be the sales person that you want to do business with.

Yeah it’s difficult wanting to offer a product or service without being a little pushy. The approach that I am most comfortable with is making normal conversation while inserting the values to the consumer. I’ve found that this approach is more accepted especially in lieu of our countries economy, when everyone feels that everything is being shoved down their throats already.

Yeah I recently read about push and pull selling. Interesting concepts that ring true. This is my first time to this blog but it looks interesting. Nice work man!

Think the linked post is absolutely right. It’s really the difference between marketing and selling inasmuchas reeling in interest is so much better than attempting to lecture and even bamboozle prospects.
